INCOTEC further reinforces its organisation in Europe

INCOTEC has appointed Mr. Michel Meewisse as General Manager of the business areas Vegetables and Ornamentals in INCOTEC Europe. He will take up his responsibilities on the 1st of March 2011.

Michel Meewisse wil focus his attention on all present and new activities related to the vegetable and ornamental seed areas in Europe. He has extensive experience in the seed industry especially in the flower seed sector. During the last 8 years, as Managing Director, he was responsible for running the flower seed company Goldsmith Seeds Europe B.V.

On the 1st March 2011, the present General Manager of INCOTEC Europe, Henk Satter, will hand over his responsibilities related to vegetable and ornamental seeds to Mr. Meewisse and will focus his attention on managing the business area Field Crops Europe. In this role he will also manage INCOTEC Sweden where a great deal of INCOTEC’s field crops activities takes place.
INCOTEC has chosen to divide the organisation in order to accommodate the strong growth expected in the field crop seed market, including products such as DISCO™ film coat liquids, ThermoSeed™ seed disinfection and GeniusCoat™ (growth promotor).
