Research & Development at Incotec is organized on a world-wide level with Product Research functions at each Incotec production location and Technology Research functions centralized at the headquarter at INCOTEC in Enkhuizen, NL. At the locations of INCOTEC in Japan, The Netherlands, Brazil and the USA, experienced people are working within the local Integrated Product Research departments. Currently INCOTEC provides products for a large number of vegetable, flower, tobacco and agricultural seed species. Our IPR specialists are in close contact with our customers, so Incotec can rapidly develop new products to meet the changing needs of seed companies, plant raisers and growers. This leading market presence inspires us to continue our long-term commitment to improve research, quality and customer service. Beside the market oriented product development, the International Technology Research group has activities covering innovative, fundamental, and often long-term research projects. This more fundamental research takes place in the Netherlands, while the research support function has been well established at each production location in the world with the product research groups IPR. Support from the Technology Specialists is given to all locations from Incotec worldwide. The International Technology Research group is characterized by well trained and specialized people with a high level of expertise and experience in the seed enhancement and seed coating technology built over a long number of years. Well equipped laboratories with a broad spectrum of modern analytical techniques enable thorough research and development work. The open communication structure within the global research group ensures an efficient and effective use of the global critical mass and thus provides the base for an adequate response to the many new challenges in the fast changing global seed market. Research projects comply with the strategic planning of INCOTEC, world-wide and are handled by the International Technology Research group. |
