Customer Services
In the summer of 1997, with an international business and languages bachelor and just returning from an internship in Madrid, I started in the Customer Services department. Initially it was a temporary job. Because I myself come from an agricultural company, I felt an affinity with the business. The culture and the international character of the company also appealed to me enormously. In 1998, I became a permanent employee and was responsible for maintaining contact with customers in France, Spain and South America.

Sales & Marketing
As Incotec grew fast and Sales & Marketing was in full development, my next role was there. I helped Sales with forecasting, price lists, reporting and market research, and started doing some corporate communication: making leaflets and maintaining the website.

Product Management
In this period of rapid growth at Incotec, our product range was also expanding rapidly, and with it the demand for product information and marketing material. I supported the development of experimental projects into commercial products, in terms of both logistics and promotion.

Communications
My current role is in Communications, where, as one of the communication advisors, I have a special responsibility for design and branding. I am globally involved in marketing communications and corporate communications, both external and internal. As part of Croda, it is a challenge to make sure we broadcast the same image all over the world and convey the right messages.
