ISF golf prize supports charity

As sponsor of the International Seed Federation Golf Tournament, seed enhancement company Incotec has provided 5000 euros to be donated to the tournament winners’ favourite charity. The winning team, Antonio Villarroel, Eduardo Negre and Bruno Hoeltgebaum, have chosen to donate the cash prize to Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona. This organisation is dedicated to welcoming, accompanying, and supporting individuals and families facing poverty, social exclusion, and vulnerability to help them achieve integral development and live a dignified life.

The golf tournament took place on 17 May in Lisbon, Portugal and is the traditional kickoff event to the annual World Seed Congress. Bruno Hoeltgebaum, Global Business Director, Incotec: ‘As long-term sponsor of the golf tournament, we gladly support the World Seed Congress and the work the ISF does for the seed sector. At the same time, we have the opportunity to support a good cause such as the one chosen by the winning team this year. We are already looking forward to the 2027 edition, which will take place in Toronto, Canada.’
