New microplastic-free seed coating for cereal

Incotec announces the launch of a new microplastic-free seed coating (Disco L-1140) for Cereal.

In 2028 microplastic-free regulation enters into force in Europe. By then all seed coatings need to be free from microplastics. Incotec aims to have a full and suitable microplastic-free portfolio by the end of this year. The current launch is meaningful: Cereals are considered an important crop. This new product allows seed companies treating seeds within the EU to comply with ECHA regulation on restriction/ban of microplastics effective from 2028 onwards.
