        Microplastics in seed treatment

Although seed treatment accounts for only a small fraction of microplastics in the environment, there is growing global concern on the topic. At Incotec we are prepared. The first of a new range of microplastic-free coatings are already available.

From mindful walks to brain-healthy ways of working

Sustainability
4 Nov 2019
What do sounding bowls, walking and games have to do with successful seed improvement? At first glance perhaps nothing, but Incotec sees it differently. Olga Court, HR advisor: "Wellbeing is more than physical health. It also means that we are able to deal with stress, get enough rest and enjoy a feeling of purpose and togetherness. Job satisfaction prevents healthy work pressure turning into unhealthy work stress".
That's why, Incotec is making a big effort for  'The week of work-related stress and mental health' from 11 to 15 November.

A busy, but fun week
On Masterplan-Monday, all managers and team leaders will to their teams about work-related stress with the help of specially made chatterbox cards. On Deadline Tuesday, Karin Hageman, psychologist at Skills, will give a seminar on Brain-Friendly Working. On Workout Wednesday, employees will be asked to come to work on foot or by bike and they can 'cycle' their own smoothie in the canteen. On Digital Detox Thursday the advice is to go offline as much as possible and employees can relax at a sounding bowl session given by Henneke van Wateringen of Zenyo. From table football to mega micado or checkers: on Happy Friday there 's time for a game.

The icing on the cake is the mindfull walks during working hours on Tuesday and Wednesday led by Suzanne Strating and the trial Bootcamp lesson by Joris van der Lubbe on Friday.
