Employees and volunteers of hospice Dignitas in Hoorn were surprised on 6 July with a gift of fresh organic fruit juices. As a token of gratitude for all the good work, especially in these corona times, Incotec decided to do something extra for all 142 staff who, paid and unpaid, are dedicated to looking after the hospice residents in the last phase of their lives and their loved ones.
This action is meant as heartfelt encouragement for employees and volunteers in the care sector, who have had an extra hard time over the past period. The link with the hospice is through Incotec employee Carolien van Vliet. Because of corona, she is once again active as a care volunteer at the hospice. Incotec has recently donated flowers to De Omring home care employees, staff of the Dijklander Hospital and residents and employees of 4 care centres in the area. Carolien felt that it was time to treat Dignitas too.
Hospice Dignitas is a place where you can be yourself in the last phase of your life. Day and night, the guests are cared for and provided with whatever they need on a physical, psychological, social and spiritual level.
Yvette Oomen, Volunteer Coordinator at Hospice Dignitas: "I am very happy that we can give this gift to our volunteers and our staff as a thank you for everyone's efforts in recent times".
